Catalysts

Tungsten and tungsten compounds can be used as catalysts in a large number of chemical reactions. Of industrial importance are the Denox catalyst for the removal of NOx from exhausts, the nickel tungsten catalysts for hydrotreating of mineral oil products and a variety of others in the chemical industry.
